BRIEF
WACL is dedicated to accelerating gender equality in the advertising and communications industry. For their Christmas event, “ROAR,” they sought a bold new visual identity. I led the creative direction from initial concept development through to final execution, designing the main event poster, social media assets, and banner.

My initial concept and design direction centred on capturing WACL’s vision for an event that felt fierce, bold, and unapologetically feminine, infused with a distinctive Christmas twist. I ensured the typography embodied the loudness, confidence, and sense of fun at the heart of the campaign.
WACL were particularly drawn to the organic paper-style aesthetic, as well as the use of stars, a detail that conveyed both femininity and a subtle nod to the festive season. These elements became central to the final design direction.
